1. Do you create all styles of wedding dresses?

Maison Distinguée offers a variety of modest bridal styles such as princess cuts, A-line, or abaya silhouettes, all designed to ensure an elegant and modest look.

However, we do not create mermaid or very form-fitting dresses, as Maison Distinguée prioritizes an aesthetic of modesty, elegance, and refinement.

Some requests may therefore be declined if they do not align with the brand’s vision and values.

2. Is it possible to try on dresses before ordering?

Maison Distinguée operates primarily online, as each dress is made to measure at the time of order. This means every gown is unique, created specifically for each bride. There is therefore no showroom with ready-to-try dresses.

However, you are personally guided by me, Louisa, the founder, at every step. I advise you in choosing the right design and can also create a custom sketch if needed to bring your ideal dress to life.

I also guide you step by step through taking your measurements, ensuring the dress is perfectly adapted to your silhouette. Everything is designed to compensate for the absence of in-person fittings, and our clients are highly satisfied with this personalized experience.

3. Do you offer international shipping?

Maison Distinguée delivers its wedding dresses worldwide.

4. What fabrics are used?

Maison Distinguée carefully selects couture-quality fabrics to achieve an elegant, fluid, and long-lasting result.

Among the materials used are duchess satin, taffetas, couture crepe, chiffon, organza, mikado, tulle..

The choice of fabric depends on the design, the bride’s budget, and the desired effect: structure, fluidity, lightness, or volume. Each material is selected with care to ensure a refined drape and a high-end finish.

5. What are the production timelines?

The production time for a dress generally ranges from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the design and its level of complexity.

However, this timeframe only refers to the making of the dress. As each piece is made to measure and orders are processed in order of arrival, there may be a waiting period before production begins.

We therefore recommend placing your order approximately 3 to 5 months before your wedding. This allows sufficient time to plan production, delivery, and handle any unforeseen circumstances before or after receiving your dress.

6. How can I order a wedding dress from you?

To order your wedding dress, you can select a design from the catalogue and contact us to begin the process.

It is also possible to create a new design together. I can sketch a custom model specifically for you, or we can take inspiration from a design you like online, as long as it is not an exact copy.

I will guide you through every step: choosing the design, making any adjustments, taking measurements, and confirming your order.

All Maison Distinguée dresses are made to measure and created exclusively upon order, specifically for each bride.

7. Can an online-ordered dress truly be high quality?

Yes. The quality of a dress depends on its design, materials, and craftsmanship, not on where it is ordered.

At Maison Distinguée, each gown is made with carefully selected fabrics and meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring a result worthy of haute couture.

8. Which dress should I choose for my body shape? I feel lost.

It is completely normal to feel unsure when choosing your wedding dress. Every silhouette is unique, and certain styles can enhance specific body types.

I personally guide you in selecting the most suitable cut for your figure: A-line, princess cut, flowing abaya style, sleeve length, waist placement, and more.

The goal is to create a harmonious, elegant, and comfortable dress that enhances your silhouette while respecting the modest aesthetic of the house.

9. Do you only create wedding dresses?

Maison Distinguée primarily specializes in custom-made modest bridal gowns.

However, it is sometimes possible to create complementary pieces such as veils, belts, corsets, detachable trains, capes, or matching hijabs, to complete the bride’s look harmoniously.

10. What if I don’t feel confident ordering my wedding dress online?

This is a very common concern, especially for such an important event as a wedding. That is precisely why Maison Distinguée places great emphasis on a human and personalized experience.

You will communicate directly with Louisa, the founder, who guides you through every step: choosing the design, advising according to your body shape, taking measurements, and monitoring the creation process.
